Honestly, I think I've done more research for our baby registry than I did on the majority of my college essays! To say I was initially overwhelmed is an understatement. There's just too many varieties of the same product, it's absurd!
So in typical Sarah fashion, I avoided doing anything until week 25ish. I then decided I would take my time and actually dive in on the most preferred and affordable products, rather than just hitting "add to list" and hoping for the best. Luckily, two of my best friends recently gave birth to their precious babes, so I was able to creep (heavily) on their preferred baby items, as well as some other bloggers' registries. You have to find out what's good somehow! I've also relied on my sisters and brother, who collectively have 9 children (Baby Morgan coming in hot at #10), and my amazing Instagram followers who all have the experience and wisdom I needed to finally hit "publish" on my registry and head on over to create this blog post! Whew, it was a journey.
As far as the registry itself, I decided to use BabyList, after seeing how truly GENIUS it is (not sponsored, I wish). It lists your product alongside the stores that carry it and their price. This is my favorite part, because one of my items listed for $30 cheaper at Walmart than it did on Target and Amazon. It's amazing! It also allows the shopper to choose their preferred store and I am all for that level of freedom.
