VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT GUIDE 2019

Before I dive right in to all the goodies listed below, can I just say how happy I am that Valentine’s Day exists? Don’t get me wrong, I haven’t always been this way…especially in my #singledays. But after the DECADE that was the month of January, I needed something to look forward to. I’m sure a lot of you can relate that once the holidays are over, it is a struggle until Spring. The cold/gloomy days and the zero motivation that accompany it can all take a hike. So, the fact that roses and chocolates are all over my Instagram feed right now makes me incredibly happy. I mean there must be some study that says chocolate is good for the soul, right?

Okay, enough rambling but another important side note! There’s something you should know about me when it comes to holidays and it’s important…so pay attention.

I absolutely love giving gifts. It is one of my favorite things to do, no BS. I don’t care if it’s for your significant other, grandma, bird, therapist, whoever. Gift giving can be so rewarding; you feel great about putting some actual thought into it and the person receiving it feels loved. Hello WIN/WIN! So instead of cringing at the thought of giving a gift on Valentine’s Day, or any other holiday for that matter, try looking forward to it. I promise when you put genuine effort and thought into something, very rarely will you be disappointed.

In the event you’re saying to yourself “I’m so bad at gift-giving,” don’t worry, Sarah is here. I plan on doing plenty of gift guides on this blog and I’ve got your back. I love researching what’s “in," what stores are having sales, and talking to people about what they would truly like as a gift. With that being said, I know all of us aren't lucky enough to have disposable incomes (although if you are one of those people and you want to provide some insight, HMU) so I do take the cost of gifts into consideration, hence my affordable and splurge options!

Here are a few Valentine’s Day gift guides I put together for any one in your life. *Including yourself because trust me, I know it can be a frustrating day if you’re single. My only advice: instead of being resigned and bitter about the day, TREAT YO SELF.* I listed most of the items on Amazon and Nordstrom since we’re about a week away. They both have 2-day shipping options so get on it quick and have fun!

Comment down below what you’re gifting on Valentine’s Day and how you’re spending it this year! I can’t wait to hear :)
